Helping Handiwork - Monday, August 6, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Join with others to knit or crochet baby items to send to prenatal clinics in Africa. The patterns will be provided. Please bring light-weight yarn and whatever tools you will need to carry out this important mission project.  Please click here to register for this gathering.

Banners of the Heart

Using scripture as a basis, you will design and create banners for use in the WRPC's Fellowship Hall. This workshop will be led by Reverend Moffett Churn, WRPC's new Associate Pastor. Reverend Churn has extensive experience in fabric art and has led many church projects. To see her work, worship with us on Sundays and look carefully at her robes. Photography Workshop, July 19, August 2, and August 16, 2007 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Open your eyes to the presence of God around you through photography. This three-part series will equip you with tips and inspiration to photograph God's creation in new and creative ways. You will need to photograph and develop your work between sessions. During the final session, you will frame and title your best 8 x 10 photograph. This workshop, open to individuals in Middle School and older, will be led by both Jennifer Fine and Joyce Watkins King. Jennifer photographs individuals and families. Shis is especially fond of casual settings and black and white images. Joyce Watkins King is a respected local artist. Her most recent passion is collage.  Please click here to register.
